The interlocking principle provides flexibility as structures can be easily modified or expanded by removing or moving blocks. The installation of concrete blocks is quick and easy, especially if a lifting anchor is cast into the top of the blocks or if the blocks have grooves for a fork elevator. During the stacking process, the top and bottom blocks should be inspected for debris that could prevent the blocks from fitting together perfectly.
